Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a growing medical model that puts you in the driver's seat of your health! With DPC enrollment you gain direct contact with your health care provider! That means you have your provider's cell phone number in your contacts. Now you can contact your provider whenever necessary- no more waiting days for your provider to call you back, no more waiting all weekend feeling sick wondering if you should go to urgent care. Just call or text and we can help!
Montana Mobile Health DPC offers anything your traditional family medicine clinic offers. That includes routine health care visits, prescribing, labs, xray, procedures (suturing, biopsies, incision and drainage, ingrown toenail removal etc.), sports physicals and commercial driver's license physicals.
No copays! Once you're enrolled that's it! There are small fees for things like labs and procedures but these fees are merely to cover the cost of supplies or the laboratory running the test.
Yes! In addition to clinic hours we offer house calls! Depending on the membership plan you choose will determine the amount of house calls you have access to each year. Additional house calls area available and start at $100/visit.
Great question! In addition to one-on-one visits Montana Mobile Health offers group sports physicals and commercial driver's license physicals. We feel by coming to your school or work it will save you and your family time - this makes us happy!
Great question! Once you're enrolled someone will contact you to schedule your first appointment. Your first appointment is ideally a house visit. We allow 2 hours for this first visit so no one is rushed! This gives us plenty of time to review your health history, medications, complete a physical exam, and work together on developing a health plan that's specific to you. At this visit we'll also review contracts, privacy policy, and any questions you might have about how our DPC works.
No, direct primary care is not insurance and you are strongly urged to have coverage for major medical events like surgeries, hospital stays, and specialty care should they arise.
No, in general direct primary care's do not work with 3rd party payers. Because we don't work with insurance companies we have more time to spend with you and offer discount pricing on things like procedures, labs and imaging. Your monthly membership covers all visits including house calls, telehealth, and text messaging. You will pay a very reduced fee for things like labs, imaging, EKG, spirometry and procedures.
Depending on your insurance plan and deductible joining a direct primary care (DPC) may still save you money. Additionally, you'll gain all the benefits of belonging to a DPC like direct contact with your provider, considerable savings on labs, imaging, and procedures.
It is possible but please consult with whomever prepares your taxes- this is an evolving matter!
